You are currently accessing the new ClimateDT portal (version 2.0), a free web service that has been enhanced with additional features and options for end-users.
Kindly update the stored URL in your bookmarks accordingly.
The Climate Downscaling Tool (ClimateDT) is a geo-web service designed to downscale climatic variables and indices derived from multiple climatic databases. The system operates on a 1 km grid surface, using a combination of CRU-TS for historical climate data (1901-now) and two databases for future projections based on AR5 (UKCP18) and AR6.
The available temporal range spans between 1901 and 2098 according to the selected future scenario, and it combines a plane spatial interpolation (bilinear, inverse distance weight, etc.) of climatic data with a dynamic lapse rate adjustment to implement scale-free queries across all continents.
You can use this service to upload, check, and submit your locations for dynamic downscaling of climatic variables on our dedicated server. Once the calculation is complete, you will receive an email with instructions on how to download the output file in .csv format.
Please note that the downscaling calculation is currently limited to 512 locations per submission. Any records that exceed this limit will be discarded upon uploading. We are working on extending the number of input records in the future. However, datasets that exceed the specified limit can be divided into two or more separate datasets for independent uploading and analysis.
Please upload your locations in a .csv format file, strictly following the instructions available here. Each location must be listed on a separate row, with latitude (dec. deg.), longitude (dec. deg.), and elevation (m a.s.l.) separated by commas. The first row must contains the column names.

ATTENTION: locations with duplicated geocoords will be automatically discarded.
Locations are displayed as follows:
Drag and drop the markers on the map with your mouse to adjust your locations/elevations. New coordinates will be recalculated dynamically and listed in the table at the page bottom. This is the dataset that will be submitted to downscaling.
After reviewing your input data, please submit your list of locations by clicking the button below. Each location will be processed, which takes approximately 9 seconds per location. You will receive an email notification once the downscaling is complete.
